Losing stomach is obviously a very hard thing to do for most people. That’s why they spend billions of dollars a year on fat loss products, supplements, manuals, and books. But you really don’t need all of this stuff if you just have a solid plan to follow. Within the article I am going to provide you a simple but effective plan that will get you losing that stomach fat ASAP. Without further ado, here you go.
First, you need to cut out all of the carbs, specifically anything made with flour, sugar, and that is processed. This is usually any type of bread, crackers, snacks, candy, cookies, ice cream etc. The best way to deal with this I have found with all of my clients is to just throw the stuff out. If its not in the house, you are not going to eat it. Plain and simple.
The next thing is start eating smaller meals throughout the day. Instead of having 3 big meals and snacks in between, have 3 small meals with 2 snacks in between. I guarantee you will not be hungry, but would feel more energetic and lighter on your feet. A lot of people under estimate the amount of food they take in each day and usually go by weight or volume as opposed to caloric content. That’s why a lot of us over eat in the first place. For example, 2 table spoons of peanut butter have 210 calories. Two table spoons is nothing volume or weight wise, but it is very calorie dense.
Next, I want you start eating more protein. Have protein in every meal and they must be from lean sources such as fish, chicken, tuna, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, protein shakes, or lean red meat and pork. You can also throw in eggs too. Protein is very important because it helps you stay full and is very thermogenic. It is harder for your body to break down so it actually burns more calories breaking down protein as compared to carbs and fat.
Also, start eating more fiber. Fiber, just like protein keeps you full and provides you with many health benefits. Great places for fiber are any vegetables especially green in color, sugar free fiber tablets, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, nuts, oatmeal, and berries.
